Advatronix® Servers Blowing Away The Competition

Are you in the market for an affordable, high performance server? You’ve probably hear of 6-Bay NAS servers, desktop servers and rackmount servers, but have you heard of the Advantronix® Cirrus 1200? Advantronix offers high performance servers and affordable storage servers for all types of high-powered applications.

Advantronix® Cirrus 1200
The Advantronix® Cirrus 1200 comes standard with an 80 Plus Gold server grade power supply, which means that it’s able to power more hardware than a traditional standard server, and there’s less risk of power supply failure. It arrives standard with an Intel® XEON processor. It can hold a maximum of 32 gigabytes of RAM and up to 12 hard drives and supports multiple RAID levels, including 0,1,1E, 5EE, 6, 10, 50 and 60. This is far superior when compared to standard rackmount, desktop and 6-Bay NAS servers.

Rackmount
A rackmount server only comes with a standard server grade power supply, RAID levels 0, 1, 5 and 10 and a maximum of eight gigabytes of RAM. This makes the rackmount server underpowered and less robust when compared to the Advantronix® Cirrus™ 1200.

NAS
Imagine purchasing a server with only two gigabytes of RAM, a standard computer power supply, an Intel® Atom processor and the ability to hold up to six hard drives. That’s less powerful than most personal use desktops, but that’s exactly what you’ll get if you purchase a 6-Bay NAS server.

Desktop
A standard desktop server is even less powerful than a 6-Bay NAS server. Desktop servers only include Intel® Core i5 processors, a maximum of eight gigabytes of RAM, RAID levels 0 and 1 and the ability to hold up to four hard drives. You’d be better off buying a gaming computer and converting it to a server, and forget about comparing it to the Advantronix® Cirrus 1200. It doesn’t even come close.

When shopping for servers, consider the Advantronix® Cirrus™ 1200. It is an affordable and powerful alternative to traditional servers.
